Where Did February Go?

And what did you get Careyed away with? I was fortunate to have another visit to Kalgoorlie. It was very brief but I spent time with an ex-resident who was able to tell me about many of the delights of Kalgoorlie and its surrounds. I'm really looking forward to spending more time there in the future. My son and I also became proud Finch owners. We have a number of pairs which we are hoping will team up and produce nests of little chicks. We have some Gouldian finches which are gorgeously coloured and pairs of two different kinds of…

What Were You Careyed Away With In January?

January is always a wonderful month for me because it's my son's birthday. We had a terrific day going to the beach, going out for a meal, and hanging out at home. I also got to visit Esperance and Kalgoorlie. They are both very different places. Esperance has incredibly beautiful beaches and Kalgoorlie is steeped in history. I achieved some, but not all of the goals I had in mind, in December. How did you go? I'm working on getting back into some regular running but at the moment, it seems that other goals have a higher priority. A work in progress! My blog article…

What Were You Careyed Away With In November?

I had a fantastic time in November. I hope you did too. I've started a new job which is brilliant. I get to work with some awesome people who I feel privileged to be around. Towards the end of the month I was fortunate to be able to travel to the Pilbara region for the first time and attend a Community Health Forum. They're doing some amazing things up there. I also got to play in a very small doubles tournament at our local tennis club with my son. It was an absolute thrill for me to win a couple…
