AMAYzing Goals and Activities Last Month

I hope you had a wonderful time goaling your way through May. I got really Careyed away early in the month with a trip down to Albany when I got some photos of Aurora Australis. I had seen Aurora Borealis a few years ago so I've always wanted to see the "Southern Lights" as well. Apparently there might be more visible displays coming up so I've downloaded an Aurora app and am watching it closely! It was great to get some of my books uploaded to the website as freely accessible e-books. I'd love it if the MOL community started…

Another MOL Course Is Coming

I'm really excited to be able to offer the next online, asynchronous MOL course starting on 10 June. Find out details here: https://drtimcarey.com/courses/ MOL is an awesome way to build conversations that help people find their own solutions to the dilemmas and distress they face. Anyone who gets stuck or who might experience resistance, rebound, or relapse could benefit from an MOL conversation. MOL helps people create a reconciled mind.

April Is An Afterthought Now

I had an amazing April. What did you get Careyed away with? I got to do one of my very favourite all-time activities in the second week of April when I went on a 10km run with my son. We had a terrific time running along and enjoying each other's company. And even though we weren't focussing on the time we were running, we did notice that the time for each kilometre was quicker than the one before! I was also invited to have an interview with Michael Liebowitz for his podcast The Rational Egoist. We had a wonderful chat…

All About Goals

In the first week of April I posted an article about goals to my In Control blog on Psychology Today. I was really excited to be contacted by Michael Liebowitz and invited to discuss my article with him on his podcast, The Rational Egoist. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to discuss some of my ideas about goals.   https://open.spotify.com/episode/2Mx3AQKj9BoNjQxiihSNda?si=zDRNK6i3TsWZDuUaegFTZw&nd=1&dlsi=d18902e5395342cd

Marching On With The Celebration Of Life

How was your month of March? I had another jam-packed goal-smashing month. Towards the beginning of the month I knocked off another early morning run. More runs would have been better but for this run my son came along. Spending an hour or so running along beside him and chatting about whatever comes up is one of my favourite ways of spending time. Through a newspaper article, I found out about and started reading "The Poisoned Chalice of US Democracy". So far I've finished the Introduction and Chapter One. It's amazing. It seems to be well-researched and measured with sound…
